Captained Trips (we provide the captain)
- We’ll provide an experienced captain for your trip at no extra cost.
- They know the lake well and can show you the fun places (beaches, party cove, bridges, marinas, the dam, beautiful lakefront houses).
- It takes the stress out of your lake day, removes the worry of damaging the vessel and costing you your damage deposit.
Cancellation Policy/Inclement Weather

There is a strict 3 week cancellation policy for a refunds. Within the 3 weeks there are no refunds. If you book 3 weeks or less out from your trip, there are no refunds.

There is a 5% cancellation fee to account for credit card fees for credit card paid deposits. No cancellation fees for Zelle paid deposits.

If there is a storm (thunder/lightning/heavy rain), then we will cancel for safety precautions and reschedule for a future date within the same summer.

We do not offer refunds in the event of cancellation due to weather, only reschedules within the same summer.

We do not cancel trips the day before for potential bad weather, we wait until the morning of or up to 2-3 hours before the trip to make any final determinations.

We do not cancel trips for overcast conditions or spotty light rain. If there is a storm (thunder/lightning/heavy rain), then we will cancel for safety precautions and reschedule
for a future date within the same summer. -
Our management will make clients aware if rescheduling is necessary on the evening prior to a scheduled trip, or up to 2-3 hours before the trip depending on the weather
conditions. -
If a storm begins during your trip we will refund the portion of the trip that was canceled.
Payment Methods
- We accept credit/debit card payments.
- Zelle is preferred, but we have our business account linked to Venmo and Cashapp as well as many customers find these more convenient.
Water Toys
- Must request/order wakeboard and/or tubes for watersport boats at the time of booking or well in advance for a small additional fee. If you request for these on the day of there are no guarantees that there will be one available.
- All boats and yachts come with a free lily pad floating mat.
What to bring
- Food, drinks and alcohol are all welcome on board (Alcohol is permitted for individuals 21 and older).
- Smoking is allowed in some of our boats, must call to confirm.
- A cooler will be provided on all pontoons and party boats, please note that we do not provide the ice at the moment so please bring your own.
Safety
- Life vests for everyone on board are included.
- If there are too many coolers on board or the total weight limit seems to be exceeded we reserve the right to cancel the trip or remove adequate weight from the boat to ensure the safety of all passengers.
- If someone throws up due to alcohol consumption on the vessel, there will be a $150 cleaning fee and the trip will be terminated for safety precautions with no refund.
- Children 13 and under must wear life vests at all times – please inform us of how many children 13 and under there will be to ensure we have enough life vests for them, per Texas law they must wear life vests at all times, we prefer you bring your own children’s life vests to ensure they fit the child properly.
- No glass allowed, aluminum cans or plastic only.
- For rental trips we will explain where all the safety gear is located (life vests, fire extinguisher, PFD throwable, horn, etc..).
Location
- We are Located at Lake Lewisville. Pick up location for each boat will be sent within the rental confirmation email.
- We will consider lakes other than Lake Lewisville depending on how busy we are. Weekdays are best for these situations.
Parking and Arrival Time
- Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to park, get unloaded, and sign a few waivers.
- There may be a small fee for parking.
Pet Policy

Dogs may be allowed depending on a few variables. Must call to confirm.

Captain Austin is the best! He made our family feel very comfortable from start to finish. He was on time, communicated great, and was very accommodating. He made our trip fun. He got smiled, laughed, and was just a pleasure to be around. He made everything so easy and fun we immediately began planning our next trip. We rented the 40’ Yacht at the end of August for a work party and all of us had a blast! Justin was an amazing captain and really made sure that everyone knew the rules, safety guidelines and even interacted with the entire group! We definitely will be booking again for more Lake Day adventures next Summer! Yall really made the ending of our summer memorable.

We had such a fun time with DFW Boat Rentals at Lake Lewisville! The boat was super clean, easy to use, and perfect for a day on the lake. The captain was really nice and made the whole process simple, he was amazing!!!!. We got to relax, cruise around, and take some amazing pictures it honestly made the day so special. Definitely recommend them, and we’ll for sure be renting again! 🚤✨

We had an awesome experience with DFW Boat Rentals and Charters thanks to Dan! From the start, he made the whole process super easy—quick to respond, answered all our questions, and made sure everything was ready to go when we arrived. The boat was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for our group. Dan even gave us some great tips on where to go out on the water. You can tell he really cares about making sure his guests have a good time.

We had such a great time out on the lake! Captain Justin was fantastic — he made us feel welcome right from the start. Super polite and clear about everything we needed to know, from safety tips to where to sit and what to avoid. He kept things easygoing but professional, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The boat was in great condition, the scenery was beautiful, and we felt totally at ease the whole time. We’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend!

Jon was amazing. He made us feel comfortable and safe. The boat was spacious. The customer service was amazing from start to finish. When the motor on our boat went out they upgraded us to a larger boat at no extra cost.

My aunt booked the double decker party barge as a family outing with 18 of us from ages 21 to 75 years old. We had an amazing time!! Brought our own food and drinks, hooked one of our phones up to the boats Bluetooth speakers and we passed the phone around to everyone to create an Apple play playlist with music each of us likes. It was a fabulous evening. The captain (Rich) was very friendly and fun as well!! He fit right in with our group. The only downfall is, the 3 hours went by wayyyyyy too fast! lol! I definitely recommend this company! Thank you Rich!

An amazing boat trip for my girlfriend’s birthday. The captain Rich was a really cool friendly guy, made sure we had a great time. He took our picture at sunset and was a great conversationalist. Couldn’t be more perfect, would definitely book again.

Booking was a breeze, and the constant communication throughout the week and day of the trip was awesome. We had 18 total for the party barge on Lake Lewisville including nearly half youth on board. Captain Bob took us to a nice cove to anchor and we had a great sunset to end the evening. Worth every penny, and made lasting memories for all my family. Thanks Cap and DFW Boat Charters!
